Ebenezer Church

We believe in God, the Father, the eternal, all powerful, all-knowing, ever-present Creator of all that exists. We believe in Jesus Christ our Lord, the Son of Man and the Son of God, the promised Messiah and Savior of humanity. We believe that Jesus was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, and lived a sinless life. We believe that He was crucified, that He died for our sins, and that God raised Him from the dead. We believe every person is born with a sin nature and that we are saved by grace, through faith, in the atoning work of Jesus Christ, who is the Way, the Truth and the Life. We believe in the Holy Spirit, the Spirit of Truth, our indwelling Advocate sent by the Son and the Father. We believe that all professing Christians form the Body of Christ, and that members of the Body are gifted by the Holy Spirit. We believe that Christ will return in power to establish an eternal kingdom and to judge the living and the dead. We believe it is the Lord’s will that we have freedom in Him and that we have an abundant, joyful life, for blessed is the person whose sins are forgiven and whose guilt is taken away. We believe that in everything we do, we do in the name of Jesus Christ to the glory of God the Father. As children of God, we believe that we are to be known for our love for one another, that we are called to be servants to all, and become partakers of the divine nature. We believe in the resurrection of the body and life everlasting. We believe that the Bible is the inspired word of God, our ultimate authority, and is useful for teaching, equipping, and correcting. We acknowledge that our mission is to make disciples of Jesus Christ for the Kingdom of God and the transformation of the world.
