Leading every generation toward a fully-formed life with Jesus.
A Legacy of Faith and Growth
North Side Baptist Church (NSBC) was established in 1897 as Second Baptist Church, formed by Baptists living north of the railroad in Weatherford, Texas. By 1908, it was renamed North Side Baptist Church under Pastor B.G. Fronabarger, and significant expansions followed under Pastor C.H. Ray, including the construction of a red brick building in 1917.
Over the years, the church became a cornerstone of the community, fostering spiritual growth and outreach, even aiding soldiers at Fort Wolters during World War II. In 1925, NSBC built an open-air tabernacle for revival meetings, marking its growing role as a center for worship and fellowship.
